Joshua & Elaine Ortman
Lead Pastors
Joshua Ortman and his wife Elaine have been the Lead Pastors at King’s Fire Church since December 19, 2012. They began ministering in the 1990’s as youth Pastors where they traveled to many churches in the surrounding areas, leading a youth worship ministry team.
In 2005 they joined Kingston Vineyard Church, which became King’s Fire Church in 2009, and began serving as worship pastors. In 2007, they became Associate Pastors at King’s Fire Church and by 2010 began interning for the Lead Pastoral role under the mentorship of Pastor Vaughan Jarrold.
In 2012 Joshua was ordained as a pastor by Global Ministries and Relief. Joshua and Elaine have served in a variety of ministry opportunities ranging from mission trips to Africa and India, serving the poor, couples ministry, and hospitality. Joshua majored in science at the State University of New York at New Paltz and Elaine majored in music at the State University of New York at Potsdam’s Crane School of Music. They currently reside in Kingston, NY with nine of their 10 children who range 25 years in age.

Chris & Kari Politylo
Associate Pastors
Chris and Kari Politylo have been members of King’s Fire Church since 2007 and part of the pastoral team since 2010. They are currently pastors over King’s Fire Kids, our children’s ministry, and Kari is a worship team leader.
Over the years Chris and Kari have served in many facets of the church. Notably, Kari served as the church administrator for six years. Other areas of their ministry have included hospitality, leading Biblical finance classes, a youth mission trip to Jamaica, hosting a flourishing Life Group in their home for eight years, and establishing the church podcast and live stream outlets.
Kari graduated from Calvin College with a bachelor’s degree in secondary English education and home-school teaches their four children. Christopher graduated from University at Albany with a bachelor’s degree and is employed by the State of New York.

Robert & Esther Ienuso
Associate Pastors
Bob and Esther Ienuso have been members of King’s Fire Church since 2005. Prior to calling King’s Fire their home, Bob was a part of Pastor Joshua and Elaine’s traveling youth worship team.
Bob and Esther were ordained in April 2023 through Global Ministries & Relief (GMR). They are currently serving as pastors of King’s Fire Youth ministry. Bob also heads up the A/V department, and Esther is currently head administrator for King’s Fire.
Bob and Esther have a heart for the nations as well as the local church, and have served in many different capacities over the years, including youth pastors, worship team, sunday school, and missions. Together they traveled to Zambia, Africa in 2007 where Bob took Advanced Missions Training with Overland Missions. They also served a brief time in Florida from 2010-2012 serving local churches and ministries while Bob was in vocational school for welding.
Together, they owned and operated a tiny home construction business, but currently Bob is working as a pipeline gas welder, and is studying theology and biblical studies with GMR, as Esther teaches their four children at home.

Dr. Leon van Rooyen
Apostolic Leader & Overseer
Dr. Leon van Rooyen is our apostolic leader and provides oversight and accountability for our church. He serves on our board of directors and our lead pastors are ordained through his ministry. Dr. Leon is the president of Global Ministries & Relief, which is committed to raising up servant-hearted leaders within the Body of Christ.
