Joshua and Elaine Ortman, Lead Pastors
Joshua Ortman and his wife Elaine have been the Lead Pastors at King’s Fire Church since December 19, 2012. They began ministering in the 1990’s as youth Pastors where they traveled to many churches in the surrounding areas, leading a youth worship ministry team. In 2005 they joined Kingston Vineyard Church, which became King’s Fire Church in 2009, and began serving as worship pastors. In 2007, they became Associate Pastors at King’s Fire Church and by 2010 began interning for the Lead Pastoral role under the mentorship of Pastor Vaughan Jarrold. In 2012 Joshua was ordained as a pastor by Global Ministries and Relief. Joshua and Elaine have served in a variety of ministry opportunities ranging from mission trips to Africa and India, serving the poor, couples ministry, and hospitality. Joshua majored in science at the State University of New York at New Paltz and Elaine majored in music at the State University of New York at Potsdam’s Crane School of Music. They currently reside in Kingston, NY with nine of their 10 children who range 25 years in age.
Christopher and Kari Politylo, Associate Pastors
Christopher and Kari Politylo have been members of King’s Fire Church since 2007 and part of the pastoral team since 2010. They are currently pastors over King’s Fire Kids, our children’s ministry, and Kari is a worship team leader.
Over the years Christopher and Kari have served in many facets of the church. Notably, Kari served as the church administrator for six years. Other areas of their ministry have included hospitality, leading Biblical finance classes, a youth mission trip to Jamaica, hosting a flourishing Life Group in their home for eight years, and establishing the church podcast and live stream outlets.
Kari graduated from Calvin College with a bachelor’s degree in secondary English education and home-school teaches their four children. Christopher graduated from University at Albany with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and is employed by the State of New York. Additionally, Christopher and Kari own and operate a successful photo booth rental business, Paramount Photo Booths.
