It takes a lot of work from a lot of people to pull together a worship service. Which means there are a lot of opportunities for you to get involved and share your talents and passions. This can range from musical to technical to just being a good host or hostess. Please take a look below. We are sure you will find a place to join in all of the fun.
As you know from my last post, I am a huge fan of the Saturday Night Life (SNL) café meetings. The past two weeks Pastor Vaughan has taken a break from preaching to allow some of the other talent in our body to speak.
Last week we heard from Joe Colucci and Bob Ienuso, who just returned after spending three months in Zambia. Joe spoke briefly about the wonderful Zambian people, and how he was touched by them. Then, Bob took the floor.
Pastor Vaughan likens the impenetrably dense London fog to our spiritual condition when we have no vision for our role in the Kingdom of God: our eyes may be wide open, but we have no clue where we are or where we're going.
If you're bored, don't waste your time and energy blaming your environment. You need a clear vision, and you can't get it from your own circumstances. If your vision isn't bigger than yourself, it's not from God.
There is one vision in this world with your name on it. Start moving. By faith, begin stepping into what He has shown you, and He will give you vision.
“Live from New York ---- It’s Saturday Night!” On October 11, 1975, those words were the beginning of what would become one of the longest running entertainment programs in American television history. SNL, as it has been abbreviated, has been a mainstay of the NBC late-night schedule for over thirty years. With its cutting edge style, it represented a bold leap in television comedy. According to the New York Times, Saturday Night Live is “still the most pervasive influence on the art of comedy in contemporary culture.”
Most of us have felt "stuck" at one time or another. Finances, careers, relationships, health... so many areas where unexpected problems can leave us feeling frustrated and helpless.

Freedom, Liberty... it's a concept central to our American experience. But what is it, really?
