Guess there is a first time for everything so here goes.

I'm writing to kind of put down my experience in the Revival meetings at your church.. I am not a member of Vineyard but I have been so very blessed by the meetings you've been having over the last few weeks. I have to say that I never heard of Roy or that he was even coming to the area.

To be honest I hadn't even heard of the Oakland revival. I had a fall 10 years ago and have only begun to attend church again about 9 months ago... I did try to stand a few years back but I failed and walked away again..

Sal's Testimony

Sal wanted to share some of his testimony with you over what has been happening in the last few weeks. He has been saved since 1986. He has in the past ignored worship to hear the message but has finally realized the importance of true worship, in that it is how the message comes alive. Sal has always worried about how people would look at him if he would raise his hands or dance. "God has touched me and as long as I have him I don't care waht anyone but him thinks", focus on Jesus and not the volume of worship. In the last 15 years I have not seen Sal raise his hands and dance as much as he has in the last several days. On Sunday 2/22/09 Sal was speaking with God. Sal told God that he wasn't sure he was listening to him since Sal was not listening to God.

Keep The Fire Burning!

I'm grateful that today (Monday) is a holiday at my job. All morning I've been crying out to God to make of me the man He desires-the man he showed me throughout last week's revival meetings.

So: whether it's on my knees in the kitchen, standing outside with arms raised shouting to the natural and the spirit realms, wetting my guitar with tears of joy as I sing to my Savior, or mumbling in my prayer language as I type this note of encouragement... I will NOT back down! I will NOT be quiet! I will not allow the enemy to rob me of the precious gift of God that's been planted in my spirit. I take responsibility for feeding the rekindled fire in my soul... as each of you must do also.
