Worship Auxilary Team

What does Worship Auxiliary do?

As a Worship Auxiliary team member, you'll be placed on a schedule for a number of Saturdays or Sundays for specific services.  Here's what you'll do:

Stage 1: Pre-Service

  1. Set up songs and videos
  2. Run pre-service slides
  3. Prepare pre-service music

Stage 2: During Service

  1. Display worship lyrics and videos
  2. Display announcements and Bible verses
  3. Start recording of the message

Stage 3: Post-Service

  1. Closing music
  2. Save, upload, and burn recording of the message
  3. Burn copies of the message

What's Involved?

Computer - Our new computer is a powerhouse using Windows XP and a plethora of software goodies.

Software - Powerpoint, Windows Media, and other programs are all seamlessly integrated into Song Show Plus.  It is ideal for church service presentations and easy to learn.

Projector & Screen - We've upgraded to a high quality projector and are looking forward to further advances in presentation technology.

What's Required?

The tasks and equipment involved may sound pretty involved or complicated, but they really aren't.  Training can consist of shadowing a veteran, and then a veteran shadowing you.  It's really basic.

So, here's what you really need:

  • Christ's Love
  • A Servant's Heart
  • A Desire to Serve our Church Community
