The King's Fire Orphan Ministry works with several organizations locally and globally to help the young people who need it most. We have sent support to Zacapa, Guatemala with Strong Tower Ministries and to Zambia, Africa through the LIFE Project. We also work with Big Brothers Big Sisters in the Kingston, New York area.
We are providing long term support for an entire village in Zambia that includes roughly 40 orphans. Our $300 per month covers:
- $110 covers cost of teacher and curriculum
- $50 covers cost of pastor and social worker, the pastor facilitates a church plant
- Food is supplied from an outside agency
- $45 covers miscellaneous running costs such as transportation for pastor, social workers, teachers
- The SAM project is also utilized in each village to encourage self-sufficiency through growing of crops, and creating local enterprises
- A management assessment is performed on villages and orphans approximately once every three months
- SOLO (a medical partner) in conjunction with Dr. Frank will be training one person per village in medical knowledge and also providing a drum of medical equipment
- Dragan Zondani is the pastor at Rapid Base 14 who is facilitating the LIFE Project in Zambia at this time
