Housekeeping - The Clean Team Crew

ReneeBrooms, garbage bags, mops, Windex cleaner, Clorox wipes, Pledge...  You name it!  It's time to roll up your sleeves and be a blessing behind the scenes!

If you don't know where to begin as far as getting involved with the church, this is a great place to start!  You get to know others in the church while serving the Lord.  You don't need a special skill or strength, just a willing heart.

All help is appreciated!

Clean Team CREWs

The Housekeeping Ministry currently has four teams, each with a crew leader.

How do the teams work?

Each team takes a turn to clean each week on a rotating schedule so you would just have to clean once a month on a weekend.

The crew leader arranges a time to clean and assigns to each team member an area of the church to clean.  Volunteering to be on a crew depends on your schedule.

The most important days to clean are Saturday and Sunday before and after services; however, cleaning is needed on other days for special occasions.

BEFORE SERVICE

More thorough cleaning includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping the rooms, general areas, and offices of the church.

AFTER SERVICE

Clean-up can be done after whichever service you attend.  We need at least 1-2 people from the team to stay after each service.  It only takes 10-15 minutes!

The checklist includes:

  • checking paper products in the bathrooms
  • emptying garbage
  • sweeping Café area
  • picking up trash and papers left in the Sanctuary
  • making sure the Church is looking great for next meeting!

Colossians 3:23-24 "...Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working
for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
